I'm trying to get NAT64 to work on an ASA. I've read the release notes for version 9.1 but the examples in them don't seem very helpful as they deal with access to indvidual servers.
I'd like to set up what I think must be the most typical case:
Inside network is an IPv6 /64 only which needs to NAT64'd to a small pool of IPv4 addresses to access any IPv4 address.
DNS64 needs to translate all A record requests into AAAA records in a specifed IPv6 /96.
IPv6 to IPv6 requests don't need NAT at all.
Does anybody have an example of how how to configure this?
I've tried all sorts configurations but I don't seem to be able to get things to work correctly.
I have the set up working on an ASR1002 but obviously that's a bit expensive and noisy to have at home.
