what version does FP ship with? I am sure latest one ship 6.5 (since i see the IP 192.168.1.1) - what interface is your PC connected to what is your PC IP address : (do not connect to Eth 1/1 which belongs to outside)
Look at the Quick start Guide :
inside—IP address (7.0 and later) 192.168.95.1; (pre-7.0) 192.168.1.1.
(6.5 and later) Hardware switch—Ethernet 1/2 through 1/8 belong to VLAN 1

hi,
there's a "special" cable patching you need to follow for FTD 6.4 and earlier and FTD 6.5 and above.
there's a factory reset button if you need to start all over.

Good morning,
Thank you for your responses.
I was to get configure but not the way I had the ASA 5506-X. With the FPR 1010 what through me off is the Vlan1.
what I want is to have the FPR1010 set up like the ASA which is i had 3 networks (home, Security, Guest) because on switch i have trunk 10,20,30 and that how my interface where set up on the in ASA
192.168.10.254, 192.168.20.254, 192.168.30.254
I have the configuration saved for the ASA so i thought copy and paste on the FPR1010 but wasn't the case ( or you guys have better idea) I am all ears!!
with ASA didnt have to worry about the VLAN's and where I struggle.
There is a way to delete it or that not an option??
below is my config on the FPR1010 right now.
PLEASE take a look at it
