Need to monitor "adclient" process in Cisco ACS 5.3

Hi There !

Im in need to monitor the adclient process in Cisco ACS5.3.Coz im getting that particular service stopped sometimes.

So , the workaround i am doing is Restarting the ACS Server completely.

So, in-order to avoid such crap things, I would like to configure an email notification whenever this "adclient" process is stopped.

I found few things can be configured via Email-alerts viz.. (Runtime process,DB process, management process. under the Category : "Process Status")

But please let me know about monitoring the "adclient process" (as an Email notifications).

Thanks,

Nithin

You need to check Configuring Threshold Notifications. Look if there is an option to select process failed option.

From here you can monitor the process status:

From CLI you can use show application status acs
