We are using Cisco Switches, Router, and Sonicwall Firewall. we have /28 WAN IP address. In this, we have assigned 4 IP addresses for the WAN interface and 10 IP addresses in the DMZ zone. We need to access Two local PC from the internet. that we local PC are in LAN zone, So we configured NAT for two PCs with DMZ zone IP address.
I need to know, Is configuring NAT and opening specific port with DMZ zone is secured or we should configure the local PC in the WAN zone to access from the internet. or do we need to assign DMZ IP address for that local PC to avoid security issue?
