I have done a new install of NM-CIDS 5.0-2 per the documentation.
Everything appears to be running nicely. The configuration matches the documentation, I am accessing the web console using the appropriate java setup, and everything looks good.
I appear to be getting very little in the way of analyzed packets. I enabled all the signatures to see if I could turn up some events. Nothing!
The virtual sensor has the backplane interface in it, all events are enabled, the status is good. I am at a loss what to check next. Could someone point me in the right direction?
