No eigrp neighbor over pppoe/atm pvc link

Topology:

7204 ----- Dsl/Atm/pppoe ---- C831+ C1601 ---- serial ------ C1601 ---+

Eigrp is active on all routers.

C831 obtains routes from C1601 remote serial line, but is unable to discover 7204 main site Eigrp routes.

Are eigrp hello packets blocked on atm/Pvc/pppoe link ?

Saw many case about Ipsec / gre /eigrp but nothing on pppoe /eigrp.

It would help if we knew more about this environment. In particular how is the 7204 configured and the 831. In particular it would help to know if this is straight pppoe between the routers or if it is a VPN connection.

If you would post the config of the interfaces on both the 7204 and the 831 and the config of the routing protocol. It would also help if you post the output of show ip eigrp interface from both the 7204 and the 831.

I am not aware of particular issue about pppoe and eigrp. There are issues about IPSec VPN without GRE and eigrp.

On 7204, I use PVC 1/116 on sub int atm 1/0.216

831 is connected to DSL modem eth intf.
