Not able to ping syslog server from pix Firewall

Hi,

I am having 525 PIX with IOS 7.0.7.

Able to ping only my firewall interfaces.

But not able to ping any server beyond that interfaces.

My syslog server is beyond inside interface. Syslog server able to collect logs but I am not able to ping that server from PIX firewall.

There is no configuration as such for deny of ping on my router also.

Seeking for Inputs to rectify this problem.

It is possible that your Syslog server have some kind of firewall turned on thus blocking icmp requests? can you check this.
