Not detecting after inserting the 4 Fast ethernet Interface in IDS 4215

Hi,

I had inserted the 4 Fast ethernet interface into my 4215 IDS but i can see when it is booting & it is not detecting once the IDS up & running.

Please suggest.

Navin,

Could you please give more information? I'm curious, do you have your Virtual Interfaces setup? Are you doing inline or promiscuous? Are each of the interfaces separate segments in your network, or are they all in one switch?

Also what type of 4FE card did you put in?

Was this a 4FE specifically purchased from Cisco with part number IDS-4FE-INT=?

(Any other 4FE card would not be supported, and would not be recognized by the sensor software.)
