Our Cisco Firepower-2110/ASA that we use for clients VPN went down and we cannot ASDM to it, cannot ssh to it, and cannot console into it….we get this error when console when we run any command

firepower 2110#

Software error: exception during execution: [Error: Timed out communicating with DME]

any ideas?

This is indicative of a chassis problem. If a reboot does not fix the issue, then you will have to open a TAC case for further troubleshooting.
