Packet Tracer Cisco 5506 ports administratively down every load

I am using PT v8.0.1.0064.

Problem: Every time I open up a pakcet tracker .pkt file with a Cisco ASA, the ports will always be set to "Administratively down", even though I `no shut` them previously, `write mem`, `copy run start`, and saved the pkt file.

Packet tracer appears to ignore my saves, and always loads the .pkt file with the ports on the Cisco ASA as "Administratively down". How I can I make packet tracer stop doing this? I want the ports to be `no shut` when the firewall is loaded every time from my .pkt save.

Hi

This can be a bug as I did not see this behavior before. You can try a different version just to make sure.

Yup, that was the issue, I upgraded to 8.1.1 and the problem went away. Thanks!
