We have a FTD H/A pair configured as active/passive. We need to replace the failover cable without lossing the H/A related configuration. Instead of breaking the H/A and loose the failover configuration, I found the command "configure high-availability suspend" and "configure high-availability resume" that I can run from the FTD CLISH CLI. Anyone tried this? Should I run it on the standby or on the active FTD?
Thanks

yes you can do that way, other way i did was - Shutdown standby FTD. and replace the cable and bring back easy way.

Thanks. Shutting down the standby firewall and that was my first thought before I found this command. Good to know we have multiple choices.
