PIX 501-6.3 :copy IOS to tftp server

Hi there,

We have a PIX 501 with PIX v.6.3(4) and PDM 3.0(3). Our vendor/consultant did not give as the IOS CD. We fired them a while ago and our maintenance contract has expired since.

I'd like to create a backup CD for our PIX 501. How do I copy the OSI bin file and PDM file off the pix to my tftp server? The old cisco 'copy flash: tftp:' is not there anymore...

Oleg,

It is not possible to copy the PIX OS to the TFTP Server. The only way to get it is by downloading it from Cisco's WebSite, you need a vaild CCO Account and a SmartNet (Support contract):

You can copy the config file by using the " write net "command !
