PIX 501 in Hospitality Network

I have a PIX501 plugged into a network jack in a hotel, kind of a remote war room situation. The hotel's hospitality authentication solution requires a PC to access a web-page to authentication prior to giving it access to get out to the internet. How can I make my PIX501 do the same?

In the past, we have had the opportunity to call the hotels IT staff and make sure there would be no authentication problems, however this time we did not have that opportunity.

Hi,

Yes. You can do this with Authentication for network access.

Using this feature, you can create an ACL to match the interesting traffic, which will be allowed only after getting authenticated. The traffic that is not matched with the ACL will follow the normal flow as per the configuration in your PIX.( it will not go through authentication process)

Check out this URL, which will give you more insight in to this.
