PIX 506E and Certifcates

Hello everyboy,

i hope somebody can help me with my problem.

Our configuration:

Router --> PIX 506E --> Internal Network

We use Pre-Shared Keys to get access to our VPN.

Is it possible to use certificates on the PIX ?

We have a RedHat Server with Enterprise Linux 3 running. On this server we use self-signed certificates only for server identification for Postfix.

How is the use of certificates configured on the PIX ?

Is there a how-to ?

I just had a look in the configuration guide, which mentioned that only

versign

entrust

baltimore

windows 2000

are supported by our PIX 506.

Is there a workaround with Open Source ?

Hi!

As per my knowledge, there is no open SOurce. You have to buy one these mentioned in ur post.
