Can PIX 506E be used in a basic hosting environment ?
If I have few web servers on the Internet with no Inside interface ( Only DMZ ) and all I am looking for is One-To-One NAT, SYNC flood protection and DoS protection. Can 506E do that ?
What is the max concurrent session (inbound) supported on this platform ?

Sure, that would work just fine.
The 506e supports up to 25,000 connections ( http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2030/products_data_sheet09186a0080091b13.html )

Thanks for your reply,
I read the webpage, but it does not specify whether the number (25,000) is for bi-directional traffic or not. And it does not have any similar scenarios of what I want to do. I have some experience with the higher models 525/535 and I mainly wonder if this is just a scaled down PIX with enough power to support 24/7 uptime servers that do not require much traffic .
Thanks Again
