I have a 515 v6.2 and have the outside interface setup as a dhcp client via my ISP. I run the global command and get the command fails saying it overlaps with outside interface addresses. When I use interface instead of the IP address I recive something to the effect of invalid nat_id. Any help woudld be appreciated

Difficult to say without seeing the exact error you're getting, but it sounds like you're running into cosmetic bug CSCdx64233 (http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/Bugtool/onebug.pl?bugid=CSCdx64223&Submit=Search), purely cosmetic, fixed in 6.3(1) and nothing to worry about.
