I have been unable to find a comprehensive tech
spec of the restricted part of the software set on the PIX-515-R-DMZ-BUN, i.e. this chassis seems to support x no of interfaces, y amount of RAM and Z no of users on the inside. X=3 , Y = 32 meg, what is Z and are there any more restrictions on top of this ??

The only PIX chassis that has user limitations is the PIX 501 which comes with either a 10, 50, or unlimited user license. The 515 does not have any restrictions on the number of internal users as this number is fairly arbitrary. Rather, we use throughput and concurrent connections which are roughly 190 MB of throughput and 130,000 concurrent connections. The restricted license on the 515 also does not allow failover of any kind.
Here is a link to the 515E data sheets:

Hope this helps.
