pix 515E can not use the Fe0 and Fe1

Dear sirs,

i have cisco pix 515E with three interfaces Fastethernet0, Fastethernet1 which is built-in in the pix and Fastethernet2 which is module.

i upgrade it to ver. 7.0

when i connect the firewall the fe0 and Fe1 is bring up and the light is ok but i can not ping them or use them , but the interface Fe2 which module is ok i can ping it or use it.

Is it hardware failure or what.

i mean i can not ping or use the Fe0 or Fe1, but i can use and ping the Fe2.

i use simple configuration on the pix ( inside , outside and Dmz).

Are you able to ping your machine from the PIX? could you check if there is a Shutdown command under fe0 and fe1? this is typically what happens when you upgrade to V7.0 and reboot, the interfaces go to the shutdown status

i down grade to 6.3 and every thing is ok.

i can use the interfaces and i can ping it.

i don't know why when i upgrade to 7.0 i can't use them.

but its not shutdown command.

i verify it.
