Pix 515E Upgrade Software

Could someone point me in the right direction to upgrade the pix 515E to latest OS version.

I have been looking in all the wrong places.

Also, is there any issues with the VPN software on desktops that will occur when an upgrade is done? Or is it able to work with the older versions of the VPN software?

Thanks,

Tim

What version are you currently running?

Thanks,

Chad

Firewall 6.3(4)

Device manager 3.0(2)

Also how do you tell if you have Restricted and non-restricted memory, is it the part about unrestriced license? Cause I will have to do a upgrade on memory.

This PIX has an Unrestricted (UR) license.

Unrestricted includes the memory. You will need to do a memory upgrade to run 7.x.

Thanks for the information.

Is there any effects to the existing VPN clients that are currently setup on the PIX? I have several 501 pix's and laptops with VPN client installed on them.

Do I have to upgrade the VPN clients?

Is there any other issues that are know or to watch out for.

Thanks in advanced

Existing VPN clients will not have a problem connecting. The upgrade will take the existing vpn config.

501's don't support 7.x anyways.
