Hello,
I would like to know which model I have, but I don't know how can I get that info. How can I know if my pix is restricted or not?
Thanks in advance.

"show version" should tell you

We have a PIX 515E R-BUN and I was trying to verify what we had and the number of available ports. It wouldn't recognize more than 3 ports. When I did a show version it said I could have a maximum of 3 ports. I eventually found someone who was able to tell me that this was because it was a restricted bundle and that I had to purchase the upgrade in order to get a maximum of 6 ports. Point being that the 515E didn't specify whether it was the R or UR. The details in the sho version do however point in the right direction if you know how to interpret them.

Actually, show version does specify, if it is an "R" it will say:
"This PIX has a Restricted (R) license."

Actually it does not show on my PIX 515E firewall. Cisco techsupport is the one that explained what the three port limit meant in the sho ver.
