PIX 7 and IPSec/L2TP

Good day!

I'v read all the documentation, and still can't understand, is there support for L2TP over IPSec in PIX 7, or not? In Upgrade manual some commands are mentioned, like vpn-tunnel-protocol, which must support L2TP. But in the Release Notes L2TP is marked Not Supported.

What is with L2TP? May be there is a licence, or something like that?

i remember someone in the forum mentioned that l2tp must be used with ipsec, not alone.

Yes, but in Release Notes:

Features not Supported in Version 7.0

The following features are not supported in Version 7.0 (1) release:

•PPPoE

•L2TP over IPSec

•PPTP

In Upgrade manual is menitoned, that some commands supports L2TP settings. None of them works on my PIX (7.01 or 7.02)

Is there any information on this issue?
