Hi,

I am having a PIX515 firewall. Few days back i had problem with inside interface (ethernet1) when i connected this inside interface to a switch the switch was hanging. After that i noticed that there is red LED indication glowing continously inside PIX.

I am unable to specify the exact location where its glowing but visually by the side of red LED its written as CR1(might be jumper name)

The LED is between CMOS batter and IDE interface.

I am able to reach internet from inside network but the red LED is glowing continously could some one suggest me what could be the exact problem and how to analyze it

Best Regards

This was actually a manufacturing mistake on some of the earlier PIX 515's that we produced. The light means nothing and can be ignored. Sorry for the problems.
