Good morning I'm writing you because few days ago the Cisco Pix appliance, installed on the network of my Company, had a crash.

Few seconds before make statefull fail-over (with the standby unit), I could capture the last log messagges and I send you in attach, with some informations about my Pix.

I don't understand which event(s) could have crash the Pix; my syslog server, that log the Pix messagges (logging trap warnings), have reported more session from different internet IP source, that scanning our pubblic IP addresses on port 139/tcp, the IPs target of the scanning not all was allocated an used (tipycally in scannig the attacker try all the IPs of a network class..)

Any information that you can send me are welcomed

To the best of my knowledge, the CSCec19113 has worked out to fix the PIX crash in thread PIX Garbage Collector in pix_gc. The upgrade version is Software Release 6.3(4), and I can suggest you to upgrade this software if you using lower version.
