PIX DHCP and "IP local Pool"

Hello,

Running 6.3.1 on a 506E PIX

two questions,

Can the PIX DHCP service give out specific IPs based on the MAC address of the NIC requesting?

Can I have the VPDN (PPTP) service give out IP addresses from the DHCP pool to VPN clients?

My goal is to have the PPTP clients get the same IP address when they are VPNing from home, as they would when they are in the office.

Thanks a lot

Jeff

Answer is no to both, sorry. For VPN clients connecting in, the PIX can only allocate addresses out of a local pool, and then it's on a first-available basis, there's no way to say a particular user gets a particular address.
