PIX Firewall Problems getting outside of router.

Hey, I am having trouble setting up a PIX firewall at work. I have setup pdm

and have a netword layout for the firewall. I just don't get a reply when

pinging through the outside interface to the internet. I can ping the router

through the outside pix interface but can't go any further then that. Can

If you have access to a sniffer and/or set up your ACLs on the router to log all deny statements you need to see where the echo replys are being dropped. Most likely if you can ping the router your problem is with the router passing traffic out or allowing echo replys back .
