PIX Image Backup

Dear All,

I have PIX 506E and I want to backup pix images (.bin) to a safe locaation as per overall backup procedures.

Please advise exact command to use.

You cannot download PIX OS images off of a pix.

but how can I workaround this issue

specially that in the past I've lost router images.

You can download images off of IOS to tftp, you cannot with a pix. If you have a CCO account through a valid support contract, you can download every supported pix os version out there.
