PIX IP Conflict Interface Down

Hi,

I have a pix firewall,

each time if there is a ip conflict on the network with the PIX interface ip address.

PIX interface goes down.

Is there a way to fix this.

Hi,

are you sure that the interface is down? Can you run 'sh int' (via the console cable) when the interface is down and post the output?

I can also be arp table on the switch that is messed up.
