I do not think filtering the events appearing on the console is possible beyond specifying the syslog level (logging console ). Also, if the console is being swamped by a particular message, you could disable it using the command "no logging message syslog_id". That will give you fewer entries to fish through. What you could also do is to push the log messages to a syslog server and then generate specific reports as per your requirements.
