pix logs analysation

i want to generate an .xls sheet report for pix logs , can anybody suggest me any log analyzation tool or some format .

if anybody doing the same pls give me format and info

Hi,

You can use kiwi syslog deamon. This creates a tab delimited log file and can be copied into an excel sheet.

im using kiwi syslog deamon , but its generating .txt file , which i can not convert into xl sheet

do u have any idea about pix log analysation tools

Hi Natraj,

Open the txt file using excel. If will open text import wizard. Select the default settings and it will open the file as excel file in columns and rows.

Here is an example excel file which i imported.

Save yourself some time and look into sawmill. This will slice and dice your log every which way but lose.
