PIX NAT Issue

I have a PIX 501. The inside network of 192.168.1.0 is being translated to a range of 12 public addresses and when those 12 addresses are used up, the interface address is used for PAT. For some reason, I can only get about 10 of he private addresses to get translated to go out on the Internet and the rest of the users are not able to get on the Internet. When I change the configuration, to use strictly PAT to the outside interface address, I still can only get about 10 users on the Internet. The remainder dont get on the Internet at all. Is there some issue or limitation in the PIX 501 that would limit the number of simultaneous connections or translations?

You have probably a 10 user license on your 501 PIX !!

Do a:

show version

check for:

Inside Hosts: 10

IKE peers: 10

Buy an upgarde to have more users.

sincerly

Patrick

Thanks, I suspected it might be something like that.
