I am currently unable to access the admin account. Been using WinNT login module for months without any issues but now it seems as though it won't fallback to local accounts including admin. I have tried the reset password utility but it says there is no admin acount.
The password was not changed so I'm thinking the local login database may have become corrupt, is there a way to fix this?
Everything else seems to function normally.
Thanks in advance

I did try that already and the utility returns an error message stating "The given user admin does not exist"

This is probably a stupid siggestion, but it worked for me once on a switch with RADIUS authentication. It ignores the local option as long as it sees the WIN NT domain, so unplug the box you need to log into from the lan, log in using local, change authentication to use loccal as primary, reconnect the box, log in and change the domain based password.
I warned you this might be dumb. Good luck.

That's not a bad suggestion at all because that is one of the things I've tried already. In fact I tried resetting several local accounts on the server with it off of the network but it keeps telling me there is no such user when I know there is.
I believe that the database that holds the local acount info. has become corrupt so if I can find it maybe I can fix it.
Thanks anyway.
