Hi,
any news about the new version of PIX OS software (maybe the version 7.x) (and which features) ?

Cisco has not release any information to the public yet on the new PIX 7.0 software release. I can tell you it is in Beta testing right now and there are a lot of great new features but eveything is under NDA right now. Keep an eye out on your newsletters for additional information in the near future. Sorry I could not be of more help.

I can atleast tell you one thing for sure, that the new OS does support Hub and spoke VPN without having to full mesh them if a PIX is used to terminate the VPN tunnels at the head end.

AFAIK,
It won't.
"PIX 501, 506, 506E support coming in a follow-on release."

Hi Guys,
I'm led to believe it'll also support load-balancing and virtual IP addresses (GLBP-ish), as per Checkpoint

Maybe someone in cisco systems can tell when the new version it's ready ...

AFAIK, it's available only for Beta testers.
