PIX/preshared keys and CA in the same config

Can someone indicate if a Preshared keys and also CA

authentication is allowed in the same config of PIX.

We have a customer with PIX configured for preshared keys. They want to add a new VPN with CA auth. Can we just add all CA related commands in the existing config of the PIX and will it work? Has anybody tried this.

I think it’s either or. In any case, I haven’t tried. Probably worth a chat with Cisco’s TAC though.
