When the Primary outside adapter at set to auto or 100 mb they error disable the ports on the 6500 switch

It does this even if they are change to another set of ports

If the ports are set to 10mb it works but the port has collision

Any suggestion on how to correct this problem

Have you checked the 6500 port settings. The autonegotiate does some weird things at time. I would see what that switch is negotiating. I have seen this when the switch or router autonegotiate at 100/half, and one at 100/full. Try setting the switch manually to 100/full.
