Started learning for the pix exams and wondering if there a simulator for pix 6.3 or 7.0 Or i need buy a real device to use for the learning?

You should really buy a real device and get hands on.
515 with 3 interfaces is optimum, but a 501 is fine.
I don't know of any simulators personally.

Thank you Patrick.iseli. I went to the site and i am just too happy to see something like that. I am going to use that site together with a book i bought just last week(Cisco ASA and PIX firewall by David Hucaby) and then later try and buy one device. Thanks so much.

The pleasure is mine, you can also ask your local Cisco Office if they have a LAB. Some sites permits guest and partner access to it for free.

I agree that you should buy a small Pix 501 to learn on. If your budget is tight, you can get a 501 on E-Bay for around $200.
As far as simulators go, I only know of one site online: http://www.chinaitlab.com/www/experiment/lab10.asp
It is not running 6.3 or 7, but it is a good training reference for a beginner.

Sorry for the late reply. When I send a post, the browser spins for several minutes. There were no post in the thread when I pressed the post button, there were several there after my post finally arrived. No disrespect to you or Patrick intended.
