Does anyone know when V7 will be available on 506E ?

Hi,

I believe it is related to RAM (not Flash) and you need 64MB minimum for it to run.

As they (506) only have 32MB of RAM and the 501 only has 16MB RAM, I am not sure if they ever will be made available.

I have seen this doco, does not mention 506E.

I have heard some gossip such as 4-6 months, I wanted to verify..

Hi,

Actually having just checked a 515E we have with version 7, and it is using 29MB of RAM while sitting idle, and having a very basic configuration.

So this is why I think on a 32MB RAM 506E may not have the RAM for version 7.
