Pix V7 query on syslogging

Hi all,

We have a 515E running Fos 7 .We need to configure the pix to log to two hosts with different trap levels.

ie to host A on trap info and host B on trap warning...why this is required is

Host B is behind a low bandwidth pipe .

Any pointers appreciated

Hi,

I dont think that is possible in pix ,reason being logging host and logging trap are global commands,what ever trap level you will define will be implemented for both logging hosts.

check the "logging class" command in pix 7.0.Even though it will not help in your case but may be its of any help for different scenario.
