PIX with IDS

Does the PIX has in built IDS function?.If yes, how to config?.Other than that what IDS can you suggest for PIX 515R..

The PIX has some limited IDS functionality built in the firewall. It will recognize about 60 signatures and takes action based on your setup. This IDS feature is by far not a replacement of a dedicated IDS system, but should be seen as a first line defense against the most well-known signatures.

You configure it with the 'ip audit' commands.
