I have configured Cisco PIX VPN V3 client with Xauth with an ACE server.
Everything was working ok for about 2 years (Customer site) but then started to get Node authentication failure on the ACE. Have had this before with a RAS solution I did with a 3725 router. What I can't understand is the Cisco devices use RADIUS and both keys are still correct but still getting node fault???
I have cleared node secret on ACE but this you cannot do on the PIX as it uses RADIUS. What I have done in the past on the 3725 was cut the config out wr ease the router, reload the router and then paste the config back on. it then worked ok???
Anyone had this before? any ideas what is going wrong?
Have to goto the PIX this afternoon so am curious why this should be happening when the keys are correct at each side??
