port scanning detection on Cisco Firepower

I want to know something that Cisco FRP 2000 series can detect port scanning and It can send email notification when someone is scanning port toward the firewall? Thanks.

@mgnionlay port scanning was added from 7.2 will generate IPS events, you can configure email alerts based on the event triggered.
