Proactive meaures to Block DDoS in Cisco SourceFire Management Center 750

Hello,

Please guide how to Block DDoS attack or what precautionary measures need to be taken to cbock DDoS in Cisco SourceFire Defense Center 750, Software version is 5.3.1. We have already enabled the update of VDB on daily basis, so that signatures can be updated on regular interval whenever released by TALOS Team.

Any more suggestion / process to be safe from DDoS.

You can't stop a DDOS if you have already received the traffic over your link.  The only way to stop it is by preventing the traffic coming down your circuit, which requires help from your service provider.

So there is no setting you can do to prevent a DDOS.
