Problem with Pix Device Manager

Hi,

I have a pix525 with firewall version 6.1(1) and Device Manager version 1.1(2) both installed. Have also configured http access for my PC. License key is also capable of DES and 3DES.

When I try to connect to pix from my browser, I get this error message:

Your PIX image has a version number of unknown. This version of PDM will only interoperate with versions that start with 6.0 or 6.1. Please update your PIX image so that they are compatible.

Hi,

I got the same problem and it has something to do with the Java properties in your browser. I disabled Java(Sun) in tools/internet options/advanced and enabled the Microsoft VM checkboxes. This solved the problem.
