Provide access to the management interface/vlan on ASA 5505

hi there,

I've got an ASA 5505 running 6.3

I've connected the management interface to our management vlan (which contains switch IPs, ilo's etc)

Is there a way to allow access to this vlan from another?

Hello,

ASA 5505 does not have a management interface . However, you can create vlan for out-of-band management. The idea with this interfaces is to connect them to a subnet that only allows management access. So, bottom line, you will need to connect to something on that interface (a server or a management station) in order to access that interface.
