No i can't use the FMT, no I am not a python coder.
It appears there is nothing out there in github or cisco world that will do this that I have found searching with google and ddg.
Github has many fmc/fp scripts, none that can take a file and create object groups with objects inside it. yes, I know I can CSV add network hosts, ranges, FQDNs with the fmc object explorer but not objects. Also can't copy/paste in the cli as you can with an asa to create the object groups
If you can find this python script to create network object groups, please let me know. If you have one pm me.
Thank

The rest API in the FMC has tons of samples/examples that you can follow. Have you looked at those? If you share the value/s for a few objects and I can perhaps give you a sample code.

thanks, I am not api/python coder. All that info in the APi-explorer is greek to me.
I find it amazing that there is abundance of python scripts out there to get objects, acls and other items but nothing out there to create and add objects to object groups.
I really don't understand why cisco hasn't upgraded (past 5+ years) the FMC to be able to create network object groups and Port object groups via a CSV. I am 99% sure everyone has been asking for this.
Thanks

I feel your pain as I was in the same situation when I 1st started to deal with APIs. I was like "Where is my simple CLI"
