"Transport input SSH" not sticking

Strange....never seen this before.

Trying to configure ssh for a 2821 router.

Domain name configured...generated keys...

When I configure the vty for "trans in ssh tel" it doesn't take and reverts back to "trans input telnet ssh."

I also have a line 66 config I can't remove. Came on router by default.

Anyone experience this before?

If you have a module installed, you can't remove this.  It's the virtual link from the router to the NME.

Depends on the feature set of your IOS.  If you don't have "crypto" then you can't use SSH.
