Recieving error messge on PIX Firewall Syslog

Hello

Wondering if any one has ever worked on the PIX Firewall Syslog server? The service keeps stopping with this error

Description:
The PIX Firewall Syslog Server service has reported an invalid current state 0.

Anyone has any idea?

BTW is the PFSS any reliable at all and is it recommended for the ASA 8.3 version. They used to use the PIX but now they have upgraded to the ASA but they still want to use PFSS

Hi Shyam,

What version of PFSS are you using? Are you sing Windows NT? If it is v5.2.1, it is not supported with Windows 2003.

As an alternative, you can use Kiwi Syslog server.
