recovered password on cisco asa 5505,

Hi,if I recovered  password on cisco asa 5505, What about  old configuration, Do I lose it OR NOT?

It depends.

If you had "no service password-recovery" then you would have had to wipe the running configuration to recover the password.

If you didn't have that set (most customers don't) and followed the procedure below then you have the previous configuration available to use.
