Redundant Switching With Single Sensor

I have a redundantly switched network. I'm wondering if I install a second NIC in my 4235, can I use it to watch traffic from two points in my network by using an interface on each switch that has all the VLANs I want to monitor as SPAN sources? Or will this cause the sensor a problem?

Below is a link to a topology drawing for what I'm considering. Also is there documentation on setting this up on the sensor?

The documents Configuring the Catalyst Switched Port Analyzer (SPAN) Feature and Configuring SPAN and RSPAN has more details about SPAN.
