Dear Experts,

My setup is like this below

router-1                                     IPS(4260)-1                 ASA-5580-20-1           Core switch-1

             ------------ L2 switch------                    ------------                          --------                        ---------------- L2 switch---Lan useres

router-2                                     IPS(4260)-2                 ASA-5580-20-2           Core switch-2

Now i want to configure IPS  for external users as well as internal traffic also

I think Inline mode is preferable .

Plz let me know any examples for configuring the IPS like the above setup.

Any sugessions will be appritiated.

• Configuring Inline Interface Mode
• Hardware Bypass Configuration Restrictions (keep in mind to ensure the hardware-bypass functionality works in your design)
• Editing Virtual Sensors (assign the logical "Inline Interface Pair(s)" you create to the virtual-sensor, specifically, see step 11)
