Remote Storage Device - is already mounted

Hi

Come up with this probem while trying to set up remote backup. Ive tried a few times and finally got nfs to work to my server, but it was the wrong directory it was pointing at.

Now when trying to add another directory it comes up with the error:

mnt/remote-storage is already mounted

So cant save or test it with new directory. How do i get the FMC to forget my first setup ?

FMC - FS2000

I have tried to save storage type as Local, but it still comes up with this error when i go back in again.

Ok, now I have fixed this again and it's still working without issues.

Config Remote Storage, verify default profile.

Hi,

Where did you add the remote backup?
Did you delete the old remote profile?

br, Micke

Hi Micke

I added the remote backup on the fmc. System/configuration/remote storage

There wasnt any before that so none removed. But also cant see the one i added so cant remove that either.

Added a remote with nfs

Sounds like you might need to open contact Cisco TAC for this one.
I tested on my system and didn't have any issue adding/changing and removing them.

br, Micke

Thanks for reply Micke

Can you add a screenshot so i can see how it should look? Just to be sure im looking the right places :)
